If you’re looking for a tasty, super-easy meal, we’ve got you covered. Canned tuna and Michigan Beans, blended with flavorful ingredients make a perfect combination, and so simple!
INGREDIENTS
- 1 (7 ounce can) tuna in water, drained
- 1 (15 ounce can) Michigan Cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
- 3 tablespoons capers
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 2 tablespoons oil packed sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon light mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 – 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes, depending on your taste
- Mixed greens and wheat pitas, or crackers for serving
DIRECTIONS
- Place tuna in a medium bowl and flake with a fork. Add remaining ingredients and mix well to combine.
- Serve in wheat pitas with greens or as a dip with crackers.
