At the Michigan Bean Commission we have long considered canning quality to be a very important factor in developing and evaluating dry bean varieties. This year we are able to share/demonstrate differences and outcomes with you virtually. If you haven’t participated in the past this is a great opportunity to better understand the process and experience the results if your schedule allows. This meeting covered both the visual results of dry bean canning, as well as a tutorial by USDA-ARS on how to properly evaluate dry beans!
2025 Regional Dry Bean Production and Outlook Meetings
If you don’t already have it on your calendar, the Central Region Meeting will take place in December 2024 starting at the DoubleTree Riverfront Hotel in Bay City, the East
