This classic combination of tuna and Michigan white beans is so easy to make!


1 (7 ounce can) tuna in water, drained
1 (15.5 ounce) can Michigan Cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
3 tablespoons capers
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 tablespoons oil packed sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
1 tablespoon light mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 – 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes, depending on your taste
Mixed greens and wheat pitas, or crackers for serving

Cooking Instructions

  1. Place tuna in a medium bowl and flake with a fork.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well to combine.
  3. Serve in wheat pitas with greens or as a dip with crackers.
